By combining a powerful 1100 Watt motor with a smooth, completely sealed
system, Miele engineers have increased the airflow to 125 cubic feet per

THE SEALED SYSTEM
Vacuum cleaners are designed so that air flows through the nozzle and
hose into the dust bag, and then through any additional filters before
leaving the machine at the exhaust. Some vacuum cleaner manufacturer claim
to be able to contain 99.9% of the dust, dirt and allergens their filters
take in. But what's important is exactly how much of the dust, dirt and
allergens you vacuumed, actually make it all the way to the filter.
CLEAN AIR
Engineers at Miele recognize that different people have different needs
and let you decide which filters you need. These include a double-layer
dustbag, a pre-motor filter and an advanced electro-static filter called
the Super Air Clean Filter. The Super Air Clean Filter is designed to
remove microscopic dust particles from the exhaust of the machine. The
optional activated charcoal H.E.P.A. filter retains particles as small
as 0.3 microns with 99.97% efficiency. These include allergens such as
dust mite feces & animal dander while the activated charcoal portion
of the H.E.P.A. filter absorbs objectionable odors.
