| Bosch has created two upright vacuum cleaners, both of which meet
their exceptional level of quality, power, durability, cleanliness, and ease of use.
These machines are designed for use on bare floors and low pile carpet. While sometimes choices can be confusing, Bosch has made choosing between their two
models a very simple matter.
Both machines have the same features, with one exception; The Turbo Jet uses easy to
change bags, while the Cyclone Jet uses an easy to operate dust compartment that simply
empties out and is then put back in place.
Both machines have 1450-watts and 12-amps of power, and both come complete with a HEPA
filter. Both have detachable wands, a 9 foot stretch hose, and onboard tool storage
(dusting brush, crevice tool, 360 degree stair cleaning and upholstery tool).
Both vacuums have two separate motors, one for the vacuum cleaner, and one for the 13-
inch brush roll, and the brush rolls may be turned on or off to maximize efficiency. The
brush rolls are gear driven with lifetime belts so that they will not need to be
replaced. Both have 24.5 foot cords and built in, spring loaded, cord winders, which
rewind at the touch of a button. Naturally, both are equally quiet.
The bagless Cyclone Jet has a two quart dust container which is marked to show when it
needs to be emptied. The Turbo Jet has a three quart capacity bag and a bag full
indicator to show when the bag needs to be changed.
The choice is simple; bag, or no bag. Either way, you simply cannot find a more well
thought out and more easy to use, upright vacuum cleaner.
