The Cleaning Machine, Five In One. The twin brush cleaning machine from Koblenz can do
it all, making floor maintenance easy, faster and cost effective for
home owners. Over time all floors, hard and carpet, get a build up
of dust, dirt and scum. Like all above the floor cleaning, water or
cleaners alone will not remove this layer of soil that dulls the
appearance and also attracts other dirt each time you walk over it.
To really clean your floors you need to scrub them, preferable with
more than a mop. A damp rag or mop will remove the loose dirt on
top, but a Koblenz Cleaning Machine will remove ground in dirt in
the pores of the surface with less effort than manual cleaning; also
helping to remove germs and bacteria from floors in your kitchen,
bathrooms and play areas.
The Koblenz Cleaning Machine is a Total Floor Care System
which lets you Scrub, Polish, Wax, Luster and Shampoo* all of your
floors. The cleaning machine will also clean most every surface in
your home including wood floors, vinyl & linoleum, carpet*,
laminates, marble, terrazzo, rugs*, ceramic, concrete and more. This
is the same type of machine that is used by the professional
janitorial maintenance contractors. Koblenz has taken this heavy
duty universal floor machine and down-sized it for the home. One
machine does it all, only the brushes and pads are changed to suit
the job. The twin brush machine will power though ugly scuff marks
and remove deep embedded dirt and grime that other cleaning
processes could not. The versatility of changing the brushes or pads
for the job and not the machine let you use one tool to clean many
surfaces. Using the cleaning machine with the right pads and brushes
to bring back the original vivid colors of your carpeting, remove
ugly spots and have a cleaner more hygienic floor for your family.

How does the System Work? The Cleaning Machine features
a powerful 4.2 Amp all metal construction motor. The Koblenz motor
is more than twice as powerful as other twin pad machines on the
market and uses full width bronze gears, not plastic inserts, for
extra long life. The motor operates at either a single or two
speed** user selectable RPM, up to 900 rotations per minute. The
brushes are connected to the machine on a steel shaft with locking
pins and all steel bottom plate. When operating the brushes spin in
opposite directions for stability and easy of use. The 12" wide
cleaning path allows you to select the work area to be cleaned,
small enough to clean just a spot and large enough to do the whole
house.
A solution is delivered to the floor with either the attached
tank (some models) or through the spray clean method using a trigger
sprayer. The powerful motor and scrubbing brushes or pads do the
work for you, no bending, stooping or pushing is required. There are
several brushes and pads available for all Koblenz Cleaning Machines
letting you use the powerful system for most any surface.
Models with two speed switch have a dial selector switch box
mounted on the back of the upper handle allowing you to control the
machines power at all times. Use low speed for cleaning carpets or
rugs with dry foam shampoo or dry foam powder, scrubbing concrete in
the garage or cleaning the unsealed deck in the back yard. Use high
speed for all buff, wax and luster operations on your hard floors
and stain removal. Models equipped with a solution tank have a
release trigger mounted on the handle for liquids flow control. The
cleaning solution is dropped directly on top of the brushes where it
is fed though special channels to the surface being cleaned. The
Carpet/Rug shampoo brushes use special paddles built into the top of
the brush to whip the cleaning solution (dry foam) into the rich
suds required for this method of cleaning.
Carpet Cleaning With Brushes? Once the standard for
carpet cleaning, shampooing has lost favor with some since the
introduction of carpet extractors (called "steamcleaners"). Extractors
clean carpet by flushing them with a cleaning solution, in some cases providing
agitation, then within seconds sucking the dirty solution back up. This method
is preferred by most cleaning large areas of carpet with regular soils or
voluminous spills. If you were to compare this method to washing your clothes it
would be similar to filling the wash bin, adding soap and dropping the clothes
in for 2 seconds then starting the spin cycle. Clothes washers are not built
this way because it takes TIME and AGITATION to clean the fibers in your
clothes. The same can be true for cleaning heavily soiled rugs or carpeting in
your home. The dry foam cleaning method does require more time than extraction
cleaners but can also provide much better results.
With a rotary system the dispenser
releases shampoo directly onto the brushes
where it is converted into a foam, - not a liquid solution. This foam is
massaged into the carpet fibers by the machines mechanical action. With the foam
firmly affixed to the dirt in the carpet the chemical action starts to do its
job. The chemical action takes time, about an hour, and begins to combine the
soil, dirt and dead germs with the drying chemical. Once dry the chemical and
encapsulated soils become a powder that is vacuumed away before you use the
carpet once again.
