The Miele s514i "Solaris" straight suction is the same size as
the "Solaris Turbo Plus" and the "Solaris Electro Plus" machines
and naturally has the same motor, fans, power, performance and filtration
capabilities. Likewise, its tools store on board, it has telescopic
wands, the enhanced parking system, blower and HEPA capability.
Other than being yellow in color, this machine differs in that it
comes with the enhanced two position floor and rug tool (STB 285-2).
The two position floor and rug tool has a lever, the operation of
which changes its function. In one position the tools presents a
smooth surface for use on low pile carpets or runners; in the other
position, brushes protrude for use on bare floors. The SET 205-2
Turbo Nozzle (standard on the “SolarisTurbo Plus”) and SEB 217-2
(standard on the “Solaris Electro Plus”) are optional with this
