The Miele s514i "Mango Red Direct Connect" is a more advanced and improved version of those Miele vacuums equipped with an electrically driven power nozzle. This machine comes with a direct connect electric hose, wands, and direct connect electrically driven power nozzle (SEB 217-2) which is recommended for thicker, shag type carpets. Also, the electric hose on this machine is more advanced than the hoses used on the 200 and 300 series machines as the electrical connection is built into the machine with no external or visible wires. Naturally, this vacuum has on board tool storage of its dusting brush, crevice tool and upholstery tool.  The nozzle may be turned on and off with the switch on the hose handle for use on both rugs or bare floors.

A HEPA filter is available as an option and the machine can also be converted for use as a blower.
